All international nurses who join us will receive the following, generous relocation package:

NSFT provides each nurse with a comprehensive employment plan and ongoing pastoral care. Our team will support with cultural, emotional, and professional guidance.

Practical support is offered – opening UK bank accounts, registering with a GP practice and dentist, and discovering the local area (eg, supermarkets, transport, schools, places of worship, leisure and more).

A personal plan can be prepared with our Staff Wellbeing Service, who will be in regular contact with ward managers to check on progress. There are also monthly network meetings available for nurses to discuss their progression and any challenges.

1. Before applying, you will need to have passed IELTS (International English Language Testing System) or OET (Occupational English Test).
2. Once completed, you can begin the first step of the 'Mental Health NMC' (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration process. This is a computer-based test (CBT) of theoretical and practical knowledge.
3. An interview will take place virtually, via MS Teams.
4. Once the above has been completed and we have received confirmation from NMC, we will sponsor and issue a visa. We will then arrange flights to the United Kingdom, provide transfers and accommodation at our training Hub.
5.  After three weeks of training, nurses will take their OSCEs within 12 weeks. When the OSCE has been passed, nurses will then be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

The OCSE is a test that evaluates a nurse’s practical skills in an objective and transparent manner. The test assesses the candidate’s clinical competence as well as their ability to work within NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) standards.
