Abbeygate Ward
Abbeygate Ward, based at Wedgwood House in West Suffolk, is an assessment and treatment inpatient ward. Access and Assessment Service Great Yarmouth and Waveney
Our Access and Assessment Team in Great Yarmouth and Waveney offers screenings and assessments. This service is for people aged 25 and above who have a severe and enduring mental illness. The team signpost referrals to specialist service lines within our Trust.

Access and Assessment Service Suffolk
Our Access and Assessment Service in Suffolk makes it easier to get the right mental health service as quickly as possible. This service is for individuals over the age of 25 in Suffolk. They must have a GP. The team provides advice and assessment on all mental health conditions. The Access and Assessment Service in Suffolk does not provide long-term treatment. It makes referrals to other mental health teams following assessment, if needed.

Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Service
The Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Service provides diagnostic assessment and ongoing medical management of ADHD. This is for people over the age of 18 who are living in the Norfolk and Waveney area.

Our Adult Learning Disability Inpatient Service Suffolk is based at Walker Close. We offer an inpatient assessment and treatment for adults with a learning disability.

Autism Diagnostic Service Suffolk
Our Autism Diagnostic Service provides assessments to identify if a person has autism or not. We have a youth team who provide assessments for young people between the ages of 11 and 18. We have an adult team who provide assessments for those aged 18 and over. If we diagnose somebody with autism, we offer advice and short term limited support to help them, and their family, to understand their diagnosis. Our team will explore ways that might help manage difficulties or challenges faced at home, work or in education.

Community Memory Assessment Service in East Suffolk
Many people experience problems with declining memory. The effects will vary from person to person and may occur for different reasons. The Community Memory Assessment Service (CMAS) is for people of any age who live in East Suffolk and have been referred by their GP due to concerns about their memory. The primary aim is to confirm or exclude a diagnosis of dementia.

Crisis Assessment and Intensive Support Team (CAIST) under 18
Our Crisis Assessment and Intensive Support Team (CAIST) provides intensive support to young people in the community who are open to our core services. CAIST carries out emergency assessments for those who attend Accident and Emergency departments in Norfolk under the age of 18 years.

Great Yarmouth and Waveney Older People's Community Service
The Great Yarmouth and Waveney Older People's Community Service offer assessment and support in the community to adults experiencing memory issues and to older adults with a history of severe mental health problems combined with complex physical health frailties.

Intensive Older People's Service (IOPS) Central Norfolk
The Intensive Older People's Service (IOPS) Central Norfolk team offers assessments and interventions for adults with age related needs. This service is not only for people over the age of 75. It is for people living with acute, severe and enduring mental health problems. This includes anxiety, depression, psychosis, confusion, dementia (any age) and related behavioural problems.

Laurel Ward
Laurel Ward in Lowestoft offers ongoing assessment and stabilisation of dementia care needs for people over 65 years in the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area. The team works closely with the individual and their family or carers to develop a person-centred care plan to meet the person's needs.

Our Older People’s Service Great Yarmouth is based in The Willow Centre, Northgate Hospital, Great Yarmouth and offers assessment and treatment to people experiencing memory problems. The team also offers assessment and treatment to adults over the age of 75 with mental health issues and complex physical health problems experienced in later life.

Older People’s Service West Norfolk
Our Older People’s Service West Norfolk, based at Chatterton House in King’s Lynn, offers support to adults. Those adults will be experiencing memory problems. The team also offer support to those with severe mental health problems. As well as those with complex physical frailties who need assessment and support in a community setting.

Rose Ward
Rose Ward is a thirteen bed continuing assessment ward. The ward supports patients needing more assessment and treatment for a dementia illness or other organic condition. Patients may have physical health complexities as well as their mental health needs.
