Would you encourage others to join NSFT as an international nurse?

One of the best decisions I ever made was to become an international nurse. Indeed, I would heartily endorse it—especially at NSFT.

How have you found settling into NSFT and the community?

The process of settling in the UK and becoming comfortable with the system took time and effort, but with the help of the NSFT community, this has been made simpler.

What have you most enjoyed about being an international nurse?

Life as an international nurse is not an easy path; it requires courage and mental preparation.

However, the Trust's regular trainings and reflective sessions helped me deal with problems and, of course, enjoy a great level of job satisfaction.

What support has been available to you?

There are ample opportunities for personal and professional growth and development in NSFT, which has aided me in my career progression.

We acquire several social skills necessary for nursing along the way. Since I deal with many cultures and personalities here, I have learned how to accept diversity, which is a soft skill I am happy to have acquired. We are exposed to a wide variety of scenarios and problems while we work abroad. We will encounter differences in perspectives and working methods; however, working alongside international co-workers has enhanced my experience positively.
