Our Access and Assessment Service in Suffolk makes it easier to get the right mental health service as quickly as possible. This service is for individuals over the age of 25 in Suffolk. They must have a GP. The team provides advice and assessment on all mental health conditions. The Access and Assessment Service in Suffolk does not provide long-term treatment. It makes referrals to other mental health teams following assessment, if needed.

Our Adult Community Mental Health Service in West Norfolk offers treatment for people with mental ill health and associated risks. People who use this service will be living with the following conditions: • Schizophrenia, • Bipolar disorder, • Personality disorder, • Severe depression with other associated symptoms, • Severe obsessive-compulsive disorder, • Other psychological conditions with a significant negative impact on their ability to live normally, • Mental ill health where there is associated risk to themselves or others.

The Adult Community Mental Health Services in Great Yarmouth and Waveney is a health and social care community team providing assessment, treatment and support for people over the age of 25 who are experiencing mental health issues. The Adult Community Mental Health Services in Great Yarmouth and Waveney follows the principles of recovery and social inclusion and works closely with partner agencies both voluntary and statutory. It incorporates the teams formerly known as the Eastern Recovery Team (now Great Yarmouth CMHT) and the Waveney Recovery Team (now Waveney CMHT).

Atlas Offender Personality Disorder Pathway Service, Probation
The Atlas service offers direct clinical support to a small number of cases held by the National Probation Service in Norfolk and Suffolk, who are assessed as having a high level of clinical need, based on problematic personality characteristics and emotional dysregulation. The service also supports probation case managers.

Autism Diagnostic Service Suffolk
Our Autism Diagnostic Service provides assessments to identify if a person has autism or not. We have a youth team who provide assessments for young people between the ages of 11 and 18. We have an adult team who provide assessments for those aged 18 and over. If we diagnose somebody with autism, we offer advice and short term limited support to help them, and their family, to understand their diagnosis. Our team will explore ways that might help manage difficulties or challenges faced at home, work or in education.

Community Memory Assessment Service in East Suffolk
Many people experience problems with declining memory. The effects will vary from person to person and may occur for different reasons. The Community Memory Assessment Service (CMAS) is for people of any age who live in East Suffolk and have been referred by their GP due to concerns about their memory. The primary aim is to confirm or exclude a diagnosis of dementia.

Our Central Norfolk Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHT) provide support for adults. People who use this service are from the North Norfolk, South Norfolk and Norwich areas. They will be experiencing a mental health crisis. This service also works with other service providers to support young people outside normal office hours.

Dementia Intensive Support Team - East (DISTE) in Suffolk
DISTE is a specialist dementia service in east Suffolk. The service works with people with dementia (or suspected dementia) and their families in the event of a dementia related crisis, to avoid acute hospital admission. Such a crisis may involve either a recent change in behaviour that is cause for concern, or carers needing more support to manage their caring role to prevent care breakdown. Either situation may otherwise result in an unnecessary hospital admission.

The Early Intervention in Psychosis Service aims to help people who use the service, and their family, to understand more about the symptoms of psychosis and what treatments are available.
