Ella Tibbott, Research Nurse
I work in the research team to support the set-up and delivery of studies that focus on mental health and dementia. I work with a range of participants from young children through to older adults. I love interacting with participants to understand more about them and working together to make a difference to the future of healthcare.
As a clinical nurse I worked alongside many research nurses which initially sparked my interest in research. I found speaking to the research nurses about different studies interesting and began to realise how important research is.
Research is so important for us to acknowledge and understand areas of healthcare that can be improved for the benefit of our service users.
Outside of work I love travelling and exploring new places.
