Two vision driven directors are joining Suffolk and Norfolk’s mental health trust.

Sarah Rae, a mental health service user has brought together a nationally recognised team of researchers to develop a major new research study. The NIHR funded study called MINDS aims to improve the outcomes and experiences of those being discharged from mental health hospitals.

Today, the NHS will launch a new landmark campaign using the iconic Beatles song ‘Help!” to get the nation taking better care of their mental health.

Backed by some of the UK’s biggest artists, the campaign will encourage people struggling with their mental health to seek support.

With a fifth of children unhappy about their mental health, making it their top concern, according to research by Children’s Commissioner Dame Rachel de Souza, NSFT's Psychology in Schools Team are urging parents to sign up for free workshops to help them support their child's mental health.

Dr Beth Mosley's outstanding contribution to the mental health and wellbeing of young people in Suffolk has been formally recognised in the New Year’s Honours List.
